Membership

WE WELCOME NEW MEMBERS

Please feel free to try us out for a few rides (maximum 3 rides) before committing yourself to membership.

When you decide to join, just ask Moya for our bank details to pay your membership fee in. You will receive confirmation and details of membership by email.

Annual Subscription: £12 PER FAMILY. (payable in March via BACS)

The club is run entirely by volunteers. The membership fees cover club affiliation to CyclingUK which provides Ride Leader's CyclingUK insurance, as well as other incidental expenses (web hosting, Domain name registration, maps etc)

Membership will entitle you to:

- Family membership - feel free to bring any family members with you on rides. (children must be accompanied)
- contact with all other club members to arrange your own rides. For this reason, Your contact details may be shared with other members, but will never be released to anyone outside the club.
- Attendances at all club events.
- Copies of all mailings from CyclingUK.
- Once you are a member, £16.00 entitles you to affiliated individual membership of the CyclingUK as a member of an affiliated club. Full individual membership is £41.00 and has more benefits. (have a look at the CyclingUK website to see all the benefits of individual membership)
GDPR Privacy Notice. Membership of Tenterden Cycle Club is subject to your acceptance of the following:
As a club member your contact details may be shared with other club members, but will be used solely for club purposes (eg: arranging rides, club social events etc.) Club members should be clear that these details should NEVER be used for any other purpose ( marketing, requesting sponsorship, selling anything), without the individual's expressed permission. These items can be added to the weekly club newsletter.
Photographs taken at club rides / events may be shared on the club website, social media pages or in e-mails sent by the club.
Your details will never be shared to any organisation outside the club without your expressed permission, nor will they be used for any marketing purposes beyond club related activities.
